Serving The Valenzuelans In The USA  And Canada

The Valenzuela Association, USA was established with a vision and a mission. The first envisage of Valenzuela's sons and daughters in the United States of America who are bonded together by the spirit of unity, brotherhood, cohesiveness and cooperation, while the second aims to render service with a mission zeal to our fellow Valenzuelans, both here and in the Philippines.

In the span of 23 years, we have fostered and strengthened a united front, anchored on mutual trust, strong confidence and reasonable pride in our being natives of our beloved City of Valenzuela. This has been achieved as we pursued some endeavors that boldstered the well-being of our kababayans, as well as painting an image of an active, robust and vibrant organization.

These programs and projects include among others holding of assemblies, get-together and outings, publication of souvenir programmes, welcoming government officials and leaders of private sector from the Philippines and extending scholarship grants to poor but deserving students in Valenzuela.

Admittedly, we have a long, long way to go to attain the level of fulfillment. There are still many trails to blaze, many obstacles to overcome, many problems to solve. But with our bond of unity and cooperation, we will leave no stone unturned in a sincere and determined effort to fully realize our vision and therefore achieve our mission.

The Valenzuela Association was established on October 24, 1993 by Fred M. Deato. It started as a small group and has grown to over 150 families as members. The first picnic was held at Whittier Narrows in City of El Monte, California.
